Mounting Boards
StandOuts are custom mounted prints on 3/4" thick rigid Gatorboard, finished with custom black vinyl edging. StandOuts are offered at a lower cost without the traditional framing, but are still a high quality fine art print suitable for display. Finally, each StandOut print is laminated with a clear 5 mils UV surface laminate for protection.
StandOut 3/4" Mount
StandOuts are a ready to hang product that does not require framing. StandOuts are 3/4″ foam core and are made of lightweight, dense Gatorfoam with a high quality display black textured banding around the edges. Also, a 5 mil clear high gloss laminate is placed over the print for UV protection and sealing the print from hazards. StandOuts are available and mounted with any photographic papers. All StandOuts are pre-drilled holes for mounting the boards flush to the wall with the use of push pins or nails. Available in 5 sizes.
Gatorboard 3/16" Mount
Gatorboard 3/16" Mount + Print - an extruded polystyrene 3/16” thick foam board bonded between two layers of Luxcell wood-fiber veneer. Gatorfoam board has a black cross section, making this board is ideal for display presentation of larger prints and graphics. Gatorfoam is sealed with a plastic coating on the back, this board is warp free. Gatorfoam is the original heavy duty foam board for graphic arts.
Canvas Prints
Canvas Prints are printed directly onto museum quality Epson Glossy Exhibition Archival Canvas using high-quality UltraChrome HDX inks. Exhibition Canvas is 23 mils thick and weight that provides a traditional look and feel of heavy weight artist's canvas. A glossy UV laminate coating is applied to each print to protect the surface of the print. The outer edge of print is mirrored on the wrapped edge, continuing the photo image on all edges. The wrapped canvas prints come stretched on a 1¼” deep frame and ready to hang. The Canvas Prints are archival and last up to 200 years before any noticeable color fading occurs.
Metal Prints
Metal Print represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Metal prints are uniquely durable print with vibrant colors, brilliant luminescent images, and exceptional detail. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, with the images taking on a luminescence. The print surface has a high gloss, with rounded corners. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof and can be cleaned easily. These are wall mountable, with a Float Mount Hanger. Like with all photo prints, avoid direct sunlight. Metal Prints are archival and last at least 100 years before any noticeable color fading occurs.
Frames
The matted and framed series have a unique triple mat combined with either wood or metal frames. WildOutback has produced a unique and original mat combination that utilizes three stacked mats that are elevated for a total of 5/16-inch thickness and 3½-inches width. Mat colors consist of either two black mats with white core, and a black mat with black core, or two white mats with white core, and a white mat with black core. The best UV protection for the fine art prints has been utilized, consisting of Acrylite UV clear sheeting for framed prints and surface UV gloss laminate for StandOut prints.
Triple Mats
WildOutback has produced a unique and exclusive Mat combination that utilizes three stacked Mats that are elevated for a total of 5/16-inch thickness and 3½-inches width. These are high quality Mats that are professionally cut and assembled that will greatly enhance any photo print in the Gallery Shop.
Black Mat
Two black mats with white core, and a black mat with black core.
White Mat
Two white mats with white core, and a white mat with black core.
ACRYLITE
The Framed prints are protected with acrylic clear sheeting, Acrylite OP-3 MR, which has museum quality UV protection for the photographic prints. Acrylite filters out 98% of damaging UV rays, protecting the paper-borne prints from becoming brittle, fading, and yellowing. The Acrylite OP-3 MR also contains an abrasion resistant finish that resists normal scratches. It protects art from UV light while protecting the acrylic from scratching and the abrasive effects of chemical cleaners. Further, Acrylite offers beautiful clarity of the finest picture frame glazing, without the heaviness or breakability. It is a safer alternative at half the weight of glass, many times more resistant to impact, easier to handle, and more safe to ship.
